120. Tether Floating Drive System
Under Preliminary Test
The floating drive system shown in this picture is under preliminary
test. It uses isolation transformers with common AC drive dedicated to
each switch to control each of the 12 output steps on the high voltage
modulator. This innovative approach allows simple control of each high
voltage switch independent of the output voltage setting or polarity.
