132. Chemin Filament Simulator During Assembly
The floating bulb used in the simulator can be seen in this picture. The high voltage cables to the bulb must carry 1 amp of DC floating at 13 kV. The bulb luminosity affects the conduction of a photo-transistor configured for closed-loop operation control of the bulb filament.
